Congratulations to Greg Natale who recently won Room of the Year 2021 in House & Garden’s Top 50 Rooms awards for his Walsh Bay penthouse. This expansive property showcases a creative use of curves, in a palette that merges soft pink and yellow with elegant white and grey. We brought each space together with a mix of luxury pieces from Greg's own accessories collection and metallic, textural items in soft tones to compliment the feminine scheme.

“THE RESULT IS A SEAMLESS, SOPHISTICATED INTERIOR DESIGNED
ALONG APPEALINGLY FLUID LINES ...”
The design uses the interior architecture, furniture and accessories to form beautifully fluid lines, beginning with the living area, in the contours of the staircase, fireplace and the built-in low bench and cabinetry that wrap around the walls beneath. A selection of modern European furniture echoes those lines, with brass accents bringing a warm gleam to the apartment’s soft tones.
Curves are a highlight in the hand-carved grey Carrara marble kitchen island, and on the bathroom walls, covered in delicate mosaic finger tiles. Designed with organic lines, the master ensuite features a walk-in robe, free-standing bath and luxuriously furnished living area. That blend of luxury and comfort continues throughout the apartment, with curves and colours working together to create a sophisticated yet serene space.
Modern European furniture and other pieces were selected to contribute to the gentle contours of the apartment’s design. The pieces also embrace the apartment’s colour palette and bring a lush softness with textures such as bouclé and velvet. Rugs by Greg Natale continue the palette, with other pops of colour coming courtesy of pieces such as the yellow leather stools in the kitchen. Grey Carrara marble features throughout the apartment, finding beautiful expression in the bathrooms where it is complemented by mosaic finger tiles in either grey or white. The blonde solid oak floors tie the palette together with their warm tones, which are picked up in brass accents throughout. Artworks bring a feminine touch that reflects both the palette and the interior’s fluid lines, while various small side tables and stools repeat the motif of curves.
